Found this hotel at TripAdvisor.com The room is clean and price is very affordable. The staff here are very responsive and quick in helping us. I strongly recommend this place for a stay. There is a small balcony from where the sight is eye-catching.

Amazing place. Great view (Stay on first floor for views). Service was really good. Stayed here with family and we had a great time. Slightly away from main city but it's worth it. They serve home like food in the hotel itself.

Very peaceful. Great hospitality, OK kitchen Totally worth the view from RM 202 balcony. No fridge in room. Very small LCD. Power failed occasionally. Would still recommend this to all.

Visited the hotel on 1st of July 2018. I had booked a semi deluxe room. The room was not neat and clean. There was green fungus in bathroom and balcony. The curtain in bathroom was dirty and old. Bathroom is made of fabricated plywood. Bed and blanket was good. Staff are nice and co operative. Hot water and wifi is available.

Lovely place. Good view from the rooms. Room was very clean and neat. The price was very cheap and the room very big. Capable for a family with children. We were 2 adults and 2 children.. we got it for cheap price.. it was nice stay in RK holiday homes.. we left from the room at 6 o clock. No more checking or more formalities.. quikly check out from here... Bathroom was big and clean... Nice stay.. we enjoyed the stay....

Rooms are spacious and clean. They dont serve food round the clock. Parking is available. Located near (1 km) from the Ooty bus stand and Udagamandalam railway station. Ground floor rooms are also elevated and has a good view of the town.

Neat place, more like a cottage with a few rooms. Each room has a little two-by-three foot curtained-off space for changing or keeping your luggage and our rooms had balconies with an amazing surreal view of the city at night. Very comfy beds, and you can ask for an extra mattress if you want your family of four to stay in one room. Food was served in our room, we had to order an hour or two in advance..the chicken fried rice was really good. Bright paint and gaudy decor usually put me off, but I loved the peace, quiet and no-complication surroundings, so I'm going with four stars.

I stayed there for 3 days. Easy to reach because its near to ooty bustand. Pros: Courteous Staffs Good Food But you have to wait a lot. Large spacious room with good view of the ooty city. Cons: Hot water supply is available for only at fixed timings 2 hours in the morning and evening. If you reach there at afternoon then you have to wait till evening to take a refreshing bath or you have to have the guts to shower in a bone chilling cold water (thats what I did). No power back up during power shutdowns.. it will enable you to enjoy ooty at its darkest form. (But they will provide you one small emergency light) Bed sheets were washed and smelled fresh.. but there were some very light stains on it... its not like unwashed stains (But it would feel better if its crystal clean)

This guest house is very nice, clean, and gives pleasant feeling and workers also very obedient persons, and very helpful. We can see the ooty bus stop and railway station from the balcony, and at early morning scenery from the balcony looks very beautiful.

I wud give a mixed review. Nominal charge for rooms. Good behaving staffs. Customer friendly service. They have their own chef. Breakfast nd dinner will be provided (veg+nonveg). Dosas, idlies, and pooris were really nice. They have limited menu (depends upon the availability of stuffs in their kitchen). I wudnt say cost of food is cheap, but its equal to high quality restaurants. It is little bit away from main bazaar. And no proper street lights on its way towards bus stand. So having a walk towards the bazaar after sunset will not be that safe. But the service they provide is in par excellence to the amount they charge.

It's an average hotel. You won't get hot water all day. It's available from 7-10 in the morning. And the food is average.

The view from hotel's balcony is beautiful. The owner as well as staffs are very polite and helpful. They run their own cab service also for sight seeing. I would recommend this hotel if visiting Ooty.

It is really a nice place to stay with family. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. They have their own Chef, we can order food as we want, the quality of food is at par with star hotels. The hospitality by Hotel Manger Mr. Prashanth and his service team was highly appreciable. Above all, the proprietor himself available for any help. Nice experience we had!

People who provide 2 and 1 star and written bad review about this place I don't know what to say ,it's not over priced because you already the seen the place and all other information in the website the price is may be reasonable in peak season only it may slightly increases...one of the place to stay in Ooty actually ,I really had a nice time over here the staff and manager of this property is really good ,u have balcony and u can enjoy the town lighting in the evening ,located near to the city ,and car parking facilities are available here it's clean and neat, Hot water facilities are available here , overall I'm satisfied my stay with this property and I recommend this to you ... This is very homely place to stay. It has a good view to Ooty city.It is not so far from Ooty bus stop, so it's easily reachable. they even own a cab service. The driver is professional and well mannered. Food served by them is so delicious and surprisingly affordable. The hotel staffs service is also very good. On the whole, 10/10 I would recommend staying here.

This is a budget Home stay. Decent rooms. Hygienic is also OK. Food is excellent. Damn tasty and so cheap money wise. Location of this place is great-close by bus stand. View from the balcony rooms are great. Owner of the property is very friendly and a great person to come across. Stuff are very helpful and courteous too. I would love to go and stay there over a 3 star property- They are simply amazing overall!

Its good..!! Located at a bit complicated place but the night view and morning view is just awesome..!! The service is nice as well as the food at hotel is good..!! The only issue is with vehicle parking if ground clearance of your vehicle is less you want be able to park here..!! You can book this from Goibibo or directly calling them..!

Completely homely atmosphere..even a single girl can stay safe..ofcourse we went for a family trip...staff is good mannered..food is tasty and on time..even though it's a 2star hotel,they give 5star service 😍

It was a pleasure staying in this hotel. Staff, Hill View, Breakfast and Room service are major Takeaways. It's perfect for the beautiful scenery of OOTY with a hill view. Also, the restaurant reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed our weekend a lot. One disadvantage is its Hilltop, though it's near to City center, getting Auto, the walk would be challenging.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in RK Homes. The staffs were co-operative and they were treated as in good manner. The Manager Prashanth is good person and Received us well at the time of check in... We three of us booked the room for the New Year 2021. I booked the room from Trichy. Once we Reached Ooty the manager guided us to reach the room. They prepared the Dinner for us. It was So tasty as much as we felt like to taking home food. The room was well neat and Clean. It was a big room to occupy. The price was much low cost per night. You can commute from the Bus stand Easily. The night view from the Entire Ooty was so nice from the Home.

Good place to stay. Budget stay. 1 km from bus stand and railway station. Balcony view is decent you can see the whole city. But foods are costly for this quality. Veg pulao, fried rice, ghee rice all tasted the same. But idly dosa varieties are tasty. Good room service, good people. In reception prasad is really good. Good hospitality. Overall it's a nice and clean stay if you want budget friendly and family friendly room.
